If you throw undue criticism at Kenny Omega online, 'The Cleaner' will come for you.

That was yesterday's lesson, as the new AEW World Champion responded to a social media user criticising him for winning the company's top prize while working as an Executive Vice President.

Omega posted the following response:-

The person making the original claims has since locked their account, which is probably for the best. Omega's tweets are in-character and drew a considerable amount of traction yesterday evening.

'The Best Bout Machine' defeated Jon Moxley to become AEW World Champion on this week's Winter Is Coming special episode of Dynamite. Moxley's 277-day reign on top ended when Impact Wrestling executive Don Callis interfered on Kenny's behalf. A microphone was slipped to 'The Cleaner,' who used it to bust Mox open, then finish him off with a flurry of V-Triggers and the domitable One-Winged Angel.

Callis and Omega made a hasty retread after that, running to an awaiting car in the parking lot. It was then that Callis confirmed that he and Omega would explain their actions on next week's Impact Wrestling show, cementing that working relationship.
