WWE has been summoning a lot of heat towards themselves after they attempted to close down the third-party deals of their superstars, including their Twitch accounts. The wrestlers themselves are seemingly sceptical over WWE's bizarre decision, as they were making considerable sums after their usual house-show money stopped after the outbreak of the pandemic.

A few superstars voiced their opinions on the situation, and Zelina Vega was one of them. Unfortunately for Vega, her reasoning did not impress anyone backstage, but she continued to stream on Twitch despite WWE's ban.

WWE reportedly released Zelina Vega from her contract because of her actions, and the decision didn't go well with the performers and fans combined. Vega has been getting tons of support from her colleagues and fans, and one of them was former WWE and current AEW star Miro.

The former Rusev addressed the issue on his Twitch stream and stated that he sympathizes with Vega but assured that she would do just fine.

"She'll be fine. When things like this happen, it's always somebody's loss. What matters is she wanted to continue doing Twitch, and now she can. So that's the best decision and best move for her. So I'm happy for her."
"Trust me, if I were in her place, I would have done the exact same thing. Well, yeah, I mean, it's clear that she loves Twitch. He further stated, " She wanted to do more with her time than just wrestle, and she stuck to her guns."
"Now, she will have the opportunity to do whatever she wants. I am not sure why everyone feels bad about this situation. Please, don't feel bad for her. There is nothing stopping her now."

WWE is not cooling off on their decision any time soon and made an example out of Zelina Vega for the other superstars who might look to protest in the future. Let's hope there will not be any more firings in the coming days, and both WWE and the superstars find a way to sort out this situation.
