AJ Francis Interview: Joining WWE NXT, "Most Wanted Treasures", Playing In The NFL, More

Other than AT&T Stadium in Dallas, what other stadiums would you want to wrestle in?

Francis: I'm going to be a homer. I don't think Baltimore is ever going to get a WrestleMania, but it'd be awesome if we could get a WrestleMania. I think the best place to do it would be in Camden Yards in Baltimore. That's the best park in the world. Honestly, of all the stadiums I've already played in that I'd like to see that I love the feel of, I don't know if it's still called NRG Stadium in Houston, but NRG Stadium. When I played in Dallas, it was an incredible stadium, but it feels like you're playing in the middle of a shopping mall. It doesn't feel built for the game itself. It feels built for a spectacle. NRG Stadium is like a coliseum to the field. I think that'd be a really cool place to do a WrestleMania. Plus, who would ever have a problem with going back to Houston for a WrestleMania?

For sure. So, tell me about "WWE's Most Wanted Treasures". For those unfamiliar, what's it going to be about?

Francis: This show is a lot of fun, man. You got a lifelong wrestling fan in the car going around the country with people he idolized like Booker T and Ric Flair and Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler and the list goes on and on and getting to spend a week with these guys. Never in my wildest dream did I think I would get kick it with The Undertaker in a storage unit. The coolest part to me is stuff like that. That's a part of The Undertaker that, even if you've seen every WrestleMania or match he's been in or even The Last Ride documentary, you haven't seen this side of The Undertaker. You haven't seen this side of Booker T or Mick Foley or Ric Flair. It's so cool to me to be able to be the catalyst that allows other wrestling fans like myself to see their heroes in a light they've never seen them before.
