AJ Styles Is ALREADY Talking About Un-Retiring... (WWE News)
Get ready to fly! AJ Styles is weighing up a possible in-ring comeback.
WWE Hall Of Famer and all-round wrestling great AJ Styles refused to shut the door on a sensational in-ring return during a chat with Chris Van Vliet on the reporter's 'Insight' show recently. AJ's last match came with a loss to 'Ring General' Gunther back at Royal Rumble in January.
Since then, rumours have been flying around the place about the possibility of Styles moving over to work for Tony Khan and AEW, but the man himself has been keen to Phenomenal Forearm those into touch and shut the rumour mill down. He's repeatedly said that he's happy in WWE's system and considers the company home.
So, would another match come under WWE's banner? Not necessarily.
AJ's son Avery has launched his own wrestling career, and there's a chance his eldest son will catch the wrestling bug after watching his sibling work. In theory, the pair could become a tag-team. Styles has previously spoken about how much he'd love to wrestle a match with his kids if they were able.
He also discussed with Van Vliet how important it is to keep moving post-retirement. AJ doesn't want to reach for the pipe and slippers just yet - the ex-TNA, New Japan and WWE man clearly has a ton of knowledge to give to a fresh generation, which includes his children.
Admittedly, Styles says he definitely feels it the next morning when he bumps arounds a ring now, but that's to be expected since hanging up his boots. Don't rule out another AJ Styles classic, basically.
