AJ Styles WWE Return Date Confirmed
Here's when AJ Styles will be back on WWE Raw to continue his beef with Edge.
AJ Styles will be back on WWE television for next week's episode of Raw.
The former WWE Champion, who is booked to face Edge at WrestleMania 38, confirmed as much on Twitter during last night's show, on which Edge cut another melodramatic promo on the absent star.
Quote-tweeting WWE's official account, Styles posted the following:-
Exercise judgement? Grant mercy? Sitting on a mountain of omnipotence? I don’t know where you got this garbage but one thing I will grant YOU … is fair warning. I’m coming back to #WWERaw next week and you better prepare yourself…stupid haircut, dramatic lighting, and all.
AJ has been away from Raw since after the show's 28 February episode. Answering Edge's WrestleMania challenge led to his 'Show of Shows' opponent turning heel that night, levelling Styles with a couple of Con-Chair-Tos, prompting the babyface to take a couple of weeks off television in order to sell the beating.
Edge's character has since taken on a newfound grandiosity, as AJ references in the tweet above. As well as using increasingly pompous verbiage in his promos, Edge now emerges bathed in blue light, accompanied by a new Alter Bridge-penned entrance theme, having switched personalities for the Styles feud.
