Alexa Bliss Is Back (And As Spooky As Ever) On WWE Raw

As promised, Alexa Bliss' "journey back to WWE Raw" commenced last night.

Alexa Bliss returned to television on last night's episode of WWE Raw, featuring in a pre-taped therapy segment that saw the multi-time Women's Champion revive the supernatural-tinged, Bray Wyatt-infused character she was playing prior to her hiatus.

Speaking with a psychiatrist, Bliss' behaviour was initially as obtuse as fans have come to expect from this character. Conceding she has "a problem", Alexa asked the doctor to help "fix her", then snapped after being shown a clip of Charlotte Flair tearing her toy doll, Lilly, to pieces at Extreme Rules 2021.

Alexa poured a glass of water until it overflowed, then smashed it against the wall. Bliss trashed the office, pulled pages from the doctor's notebook, and yanked his tie, then challenged him to write about her problems, veering between rage and mania.

WWE's current plans for Bliss and her character remain in flux, though this segment could be the start of Alexa transitioning towards a different gimmick.

Prior to last night, Bliss had been off WWE television since September, having lost her Raw Women's Title match with Charlotte Flair. It was reported in the aftermath that Alexa would be taking time off to undergo sinus surgery.
