Despite being ranked third on this list, Charlotte Flair had arguably the most successful time in NXT from her debut to arriving on the main roster. Entering NXT on the back of her last name, Charlotte quickly established herself as a star in her own right, becoming one of the best women's wrestlers on the planet. After the title was vacated by Paige, Flair defeated Emma, Alexa Bliss and Natalya to become just the second NXT Women's Champion.

As champion, Charlotte would hold the title for eight months, having standout matches with all three other members of the Four Horsewomen of NXT. After defeating Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch one on one, a Fatal Four-Way match was made between the legacy-making women. At Takeover: Rival, Charlotte's first reign would come to an end after being pinned by Sasha.

After nearly five years away from NXT, The Queen would return to the black and gold brand after opting to challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36. Charlotte would once again hold NXT gold after defeating Ripley in one of the best matches at the event. A much shorter reign was in store for Flair this time, though, as she would only defend the title once before Io Shirai pinned Ripley in a triple threat match. Across Charlotte's two reigns, she combined to hold the NXT Women's Championship for 321 days.
