3. Piper Niven
Just as Bianca Belair emerged from the true lesser-known competitors in the tournament as a breakout star, it could be argued that Piper Niven did the same amongst the upper tier. Not as initially well-regarded as Sane or Storm, the artist formerly known as Viper will certainly have increased her standing in the eyes of many after a series of brilliant matches.
One of the most consistent wrestlers in the Classic, Niven enjoyed wonderful (and different) bouts with Santana Garrett, Serena Deeb, and close friend Toni Storm. While it's hard to pick a favourite of the three, the match with Storm probably told the best story - two respectful opponents engaging in World of Sport-style old schoolery, before exchanging heavier and heavier blows as the built to a wild finish.
