The mix of old and new on display at All In tugged at the heart strings. Older fans tuning in to see what all the fuss is about must have smiled their way through cameos from Billy Gunn, Tommy Dreamer, Diamond Dallas Page, Bully Ray and more. On top of that was the sweet spotlight given to NWA traditions.

Seeing former favourites like Road Warrior Animal, Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard in attendance was another nice touch too. The whole evening seemed like a subtle love-letter from Cody to his father Dusty's affinity for the NWA, and it didn't come across as too in-your-face or forced. This, in an industry obsessed with shoving things down fan throats, was lovely to see.

We want more of it.

Seeing even more killer cameos sprinkled throughout the evening would be nice at All In 2. The boys in charge can be trusted to ensure it's not too much and doesn't become ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with celebrating the past whilst forging the future.
