Despite rumours, Andrade will not be making a live appearance later today for Ring of Honor.

Despite plentiful fan speculation, Andrade will not be appearing live at tonight’s Ring of Honor 19th Anniversary PPV.

This comes hot on the heels of Andrade taking to social media to confirm that he’s already held talks with another promotion following his WWE release this past Sunday. That was then followed up by the former NXT Champion responding to a PCO tweet about ROH potentially signing the free agent.

Pouring cold water on hopes of seeing Andrade turning up in an ROH ring tonight, Fightful Select is now reporting that there is zero chance of this happening – as the PPV was filmed last weekend.

Of course, one possibility is that ROH could always slip in a taped vignette or promo package in post-production for Andrade should the stars align.

Having formally requested his release earlier this month, Andrade was finally granted that release in the aftermath of last Sunday’s Fastlane PPV. Since then, it’s been revealed that the star is able to compete for another promotion immediately, for he did not have the usual 90-day non-compete clause in his WWE contract.
