Another 10 Crazy Lies Told By Hulk Hogan That No One Believes

9. The Wrestler

The Wrestler focuses on the dark side of the wrestling business, telling the story of a has-been down-and-out wrestler on his last legs. For some wrestlers, a film like that might strike unpleasantly close to home.

But that didn't stop Hogan from boasting that director Darren Aronofsky offered him the lead role three times. Hogan claims he turned it down because "he didn't deserve it," which totally sounds like him. He would never take title shots or spotlights he didn't deserve, especially not at another wrestler's expense at WrestleMania IX.

But I digress.

Aronofsky categorically denies that Hogan was ever even considered for the role.

But who are you going to believe? The guy who made the movie, or the guy who claims he never used his creative control clause in WCW?
