ANOTHER Big Announcement Set For This Week's WWE NXT
William Regal lines up two "game-changing announcements" for Wednesday's episode of WWE NXT.
Following on from last week's claim of an announcement that will "change the landscape" of WWE NXT on tomorrow night's show, General Manager William Regal has another game-changer up his sleeve.
It was confirmed during last night's episode of Raw that Regal will make not one, but two major announcements on Wednesday, as an expected move to Tuesday nights looms for the black and gold brand after WrestleMania 37.
While there's no indication that either of the GM's announcements will cover the change of night, WWE is expected to confirm the move imminently.
One of the announcements will almost certainly cover the situation surrounding the Women's Tag Team Championships. Last week's news was a response to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax's win over Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai, which came when Adam Pearce invaded NXT with a main roster referee, calling a submission loss for Kai - who wasn't the legal woman.
It was reported last week that WWE plans on introducing dedicated NXT Women's Tag Team Championships. Given what went down with Kai and Gonzalez, and considering Jax and Baszler have since defended their belts, one of Regal's announcements could see their unveiling.
