ANOTHER Major Title Change On WWE NXT 2.0!

Another day, another big-time NXT 2.0 title changing hands...

Everything that's old is new again.

Use whatever cliché you want, but Toxic Attraction are once again the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions. Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin recaptured the titles they lost over the weekend Tuesday night in a rematch against new champs Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai.

Similar to their NXT Stand and Deliver match on Saturday, the two teams battled back and forth until their compatriots got involved. At Stand and Deliver, that was Wendy Choo throwing soda at Dolin. On NXT 2.0, it was Mandy Rose taking out Choo before she could do anything.

The story of Tuesday's match was Gonzalez's knee getting worked over and finally being taken out, allowing Toxic Attraction to hit their Toxic Shock finisher on Raquel to regain the tag titles and become two-time champs.

The decision to have Gigi and Jacy lose their tag titles in a kickoff show match, and then recapture them three days later is an odd one, to say the least. Gonzalez and Kai had just gotten back together, so there was no real journey for them that made it feel like the story was the old teammates reconciling.

Instead, you had two title changes for the sake of it. Maybe it was the old Attitude Era mentality of booking a title change to try to pop a rating and make fans think that anything can happen. Either way, expect more posing with the titles.
