WWE continues relying on pairings you've already seen to sell a stadium show.

WWE's next premium live event, SummerSlam 2022, takes place in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday 30 July - and it's a big one.

The 69,143-seater Nissan Arena has been booked for what was originally intended to form part of a summer of stadium shows for WWE. Of the 35,887 tickets made available by WWE, 28,243 had been sold per the last WrestleTix check. It'll largely up to whatever match announcements are forthcoming to shift the rest.

One new announcement came on last night's Raw. Bobby Lashley will defend his United States Championship against Theory, having taken the strap from the Vince McMahon-approved up-and-comer at Money in the Bank on 2 July. This means that two of the three bouts announced so far are rematches, the other being Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns.

Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey, technically another MITB rematch, has also been reported. WWE is yet to announce anything yet though.

Here's how the SummerSlam 2022 card looked at the time of writing:-
