Jey Uso has emerged as a strong merchandise-mover in WWE, reports Fightful Select.

The outlet learned as much by accessing merch reports from recent WWE live events, and then confirming figures with company personnel. Jey, like Cody Rhodes (whose merchandise outsells generic WWE-branded items - a rarity in the company), is performing well at the table.

Fightful had been informed that Uso's merchandise was selling "exceptionally well" during late-September live events, which aligns with WWE's high hopes for the former Bloodline man.

In September, Fightful reported WWE was very happy with Uso and how he had gotten over since splitting from the Bloodline and leaving SmackDown in August. This effectively meant the end of his long-time tag team with brother Jimmy, who remains on Friday night as a heel, with Jey moved to Raw.

Swapping Fridays for Mondays has proved profitable for Jey, who has gotten over well as a babyface, forging an alliance with Cody Rhodes. Last week's Fastlane 2023 premium live event saw Rhodes and Uso dethrone the Judgment Day's Damian Priest and Finn Balor to become Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions

Their performance at the post-show media scrum may have been even more impressive.
