The latest updates on and from the pair have come through channels that benefit them. In stark comparison to his overtly verbose (and often inane) post-loss promos, 'The Champ' was remarkably succinct when asked by E! during an appearance at Las Vegas' CinemaCon.

"It sucks. There's no other way to say [it]. I love Nicole with all my heart, and that's that." Just weeks earlier he was lengthy and gushing in his assessment of his future with her on Chris Hardwick's 'ID10T' podcast - a long-form interview in which he dedicated the last quarter to explaining how his deep love for the Bella Twin had changed everything in relation to marriage, children and the 'traditional' trajectory he'd once resolutely rejected. It's vital listen, particularly considering the proximity to the relationship's collapse. In both cases, the appearances occurred in-part to promote his critical breakthrough 'Blockers'.

And that was just 'Big Match John'. When Bella finally opened up to the numerous social media lens' she's welcomed into her life over the past decade, Cena's former fiancée spoke for f*cking ages and said absolutely nothing, but captured attention nonetheless...
