Are WWE About To Release NXT's Velveteen Dream?

This Dream might be over.

The Mat Men Podcast tweeted out that Velveteen Dream's days in WWE "are numbered". Then, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp corroborated that news by saying he'd been hearing the same thing, and also heard some other "not so wonderful news" about the NXT star from other sources.

Both parties believe that it could only be a matter of time before Dream leaves the company completely.

Velveteen's future in WWE has been a topic of serious discussion since he was accused of illegal social media behaviour back in April. Since then, further allegations have been made against the former North American Champion.

Sean Ross Sapp cryptically noted that the "not so wonderful news" he's heard about Dream has nothing to do with these allegations. What could it be? That's a million dollar question.

Dream wasn't spotted on this past Wednesday's episode of NXT TV. WWE dropped any and all mention of a mooted tag-team between he and Dexter Lumis; instead, Lumis worked against Roderick Strong and continued his angle with The Undisputed Era solo.
