This war is just getting started.

Survivor Series delivered one of the most shocking pay-per-view main events in WWE history. In only 86 seconds, Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar, with The Beast not getting in a single offensive move.

Due to the incredibly short amount of time the match lasted, fans began speculating whether it was because one of the two men were injured, or if Brock was on bad terms with WWE again. According to The Wrestling Observer, once Goldberg agreed to stick around for the Royal Rumble, they decided put him over in the way that made him a star in WCW.

This doesn't sound like the end of the feud, as Lesnar believes that this is a money program with Goldberg, and apparently Vince McMahon feels the same way. That means we'll likely have another rematch at Rumble or WrestleMania.

The finish to last night's show seems to be quite divisive. Some loved the shock of it, and the huge statement it meant for Goldberg. Others were hoping for a longer match after all that hype, and wish that if Brock was going to lose in such dominant fashion, then it should have been to a full-time talent.

The key is how WWE books this going forward, as last night's main event was one of the most newsworthy moments they've created in years. Hopefully they have a solid game plan in mind, otherwise this will could end up being a huge mistake.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
