The former IIconics are on their way to IMPACT Wrestling, with the promotion airing a vignette announcing that Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay will soon land there during the past weekend's Knockouts Knockdown show.

Now going by The IInspiration, Lee and McKay will debut for IMPACT at Bound For Glory 2021 on Saturday 23 October, reuniting as a televised tag team for the first time since being split up prior to the 2020 WWE Draft. This comes after the duo opted to accept what Fightful Select describes as "a very nice offer" from the promotion.

The report states that some IMPACT personnel were aware that Lee and McKay had been offered deals as far back as the company's last set of television tapings in mid-September. It is stated, too, that The IInspiration had other options available to them as well.

Officials supposedly kept the deal's finishing touches a "closely guarded secret" within the promotion, which may explain why nothing came out prior to Knockouts Knockdown.

Lee and McKay have been free agents since both were released by WWE on 15 April. Neither has wrestled since their 90-day non-compete clauses expired in mid-July, having struggled with visas issues after being made free agents.
