AEW's Kip Sabian is injured.

Per Fightful Select, the Englishman was said to be "on the shelf" in late April, having previously missed time between December 2020 and February 2021 due to an undisclosed injury.

Sabian returned from the period on the sidelines on 3 March, wrestling Carlie Bravo for an episode of Dark, before he and Miro faced Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy at Revolution 2021. His last match was the Arcade Anarchy defeat to Taylor and Cassidy on the 31 March episode of Dynamite.

Sabian confirmed over the weekend that he needs surgery:-

Fightful cite this as the reason behind Miro's attack on Kip during last week's episode of Dynamite. Miro mauled his former partner in a backstage segment, slamming a door against his arm in an angle that will now serve as Sabian's write-off from television while recovering from surgery.

Sabian's wife, Penelope Ford, wrestled her first Dynamite match in three months last week, losing to Kris Statlander with Sabian present at ringside. The Miro attack went down later in the evening.

There's currently no word on the extent of Sabian's injury or how long he'll be out of action for.
