Backstage Update On Long-Missing AEW Star

This once prominent AEW personality has been missing for a long time.

Many a moon has passed since Rebel was last seen in AEW - and there's currently no word on when she might return.

Fightful Select reports that Britt Baker's former onscreen ally is open to returning to television should the promotion ask her. Talks have been held to that effect, though it's unclear what those entailed - and the likelihood of an onscreen comeback isn't known either.

The outlet notes that Rebel hasn't been backstage a lot during her time off AEW television. There aren't working plans for her to wrestle, according to the report, though Rebel herself has shown an interest in competing for independent promotions in 2024.

Once a prominent fixture alongside Baker, Rebel's AEW role has changed significantly since her August 2019 signing, when she was brought in as a hair and makeup stylist for the company's women's division. No longer a televised figure, Baker isn't involved in the hair and makeup team anymore either.

Rebel last wrestled for AEW at a Dark taping in August 2022. AEW stopped using her on television alongside Baker around the time of Britt's face turn in February 2023.
