As reported yesterday, Molly Holly was backstage at this week's WWE Raw tapings, undergoing a tryout for a potential producer's role with the company.

In a new update, PWInsider's Mike Johnson (who broke the original story) notes that Holly's tryout is an ongoing process, with the Hall of Famer brought to Raw so that WWE could put her through her paces in the position. She will be brought back to future tapings until the two sides have felt each other out.

If hired as a producer, Holly could be under full-time WWE contract for the first time since 2005, when she retired from the ring to spend more time with her family. She has made several guest appearances for the promotion since then, including backstage segments, Royal Rumbles, and other battle royals.

April saw Holly inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021. The former WWE Women's Champion was inducted alongside the likes of Eric Bischoff, Kane, The Great Khali, and more, and spent the bulk of her brief induction speech thanking lesser-known backstage names who may not always get the credit they deserve.

Holly last wrestled in the 2020 women's Royal Rumble, appearing as Mighty Molly.
