Rumours of Thunder Rosa's demise have been greater exaggerated.

It was reported earlier this week that the top AEW Women's World Championship contender had suffered a legitimate injury while competing on this week's episode of Dynamite, though she'd still be able to wrestle on tonight's Revolution 2022 pay-per-view. This original story has now been denied.

Along with other AEW sources, Thunder Rosa "vehemently denied" the story to Fightful Select. Though Rosa had her legged wrapped up during the bout, this wasn't because of an injury sustained while teaming with Mercedes Martinez to face Baker and Jamie Hayter on this Wednesday's show.

Baker vs. Rosa is still good to go, though the Fightful report notes that Rosa has been banged up over the past few months.

Baker and Rosa last wrestled each other one-on-one in March 2021, when they contested a bloody Unsanctioned Lights Out match considered one of AEW's best matches of the year. This came at the end of their heated feud's first chapter. Recently, the rivalry was fired back up for Revolution, with Rosa emerging as the Women's World Champion's clearest number one contender.
