W. Morrissey is sticking around in IMPACT Wrestling.

A new report from Fightful Select states that after inquiring with IMPACT, the outlet has been informed that the former Big Cass has signed a deal with the promotion and will be with them "for the foreseeable future."

Morrissey debuted for IMPACT at least week's Rebellion pay-per-view. Taking the injured Eric Young's place as Violent by Design faced Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards, James Storm, and Willie Mack, his surprise appearance ended in victory, with Morrissey pinning Mack.

Coming out of the pay-per-view, it wasn't clear if Morrissey had been signed or was just working a one-off for the company, as his interactions with Young were ambiguous. Now, we know he is sticking around.

Morrissey cut his first IMPACT promo on last night's show, accepting his role as one of the "bad people" in the wrestling business. A quick squash of Sam Beale followed. There were no further interactions between him and Violent by Design, though Mack challenged the big man to an Under Siege (16 May) singles match later on.

This will be Morrissey's first major wrestling contract since he left WWE in 2018.
