The rumours were true.

Becky Lynch returned to WWE screens on Friday's 'go home' episode of SmackDown before Survivor Series and will be involved in the women's WarGames match. 'Big Time Becks' strolled out to take her place next to Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Mia Yim in-ring, but not before brawling with Bayley.

Now, Lynch will rival Bayley's Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley on Saturday night's bumper pay-per-view in Boston.

The comeback had been expected, but it still got a huge pop from fans in Providence, Rhode Island. Fans who bought tickets for SmackDown were very pleased to see Becky, and even more thrilled that she traded some punches with Bayley before standing tall with her new WarGames teammates afterwards.

This is the first time Lynch has been seen on WWE programming since SummerSlam.

Michael Cole referred to her as 'Big Time Becks', but Becky had her old swagger as 'The Man' about her. In addition, she wore an all-leather look and ditched the extravagant outfits of her most recent run as a heel. There's no doubt about it: Lynch is back on the babyface side.
