WWE's next big pay-per-view, Fastlane 2021, goes down on Sunday 21 March, and with the show just over two weeks away the promotion has just put its first match together.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are to defend their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. This was confirmed last night:-

There are a few interesting elements to the booking here.

First is that Baszler and Jax are currently fighting wars on several fronts, having "earned" a screwy win over Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez on this week's NXT. Kai was submitted via Kirifuda Clutch when she wasn't the legal woman after the main roster's Adam Pearce had marched out with a replacement official following a ref bump. This prompted William Regal to hype a "big announcement" for next week, frame as it it was related to the Women's Tag Team Titles.

Second, Belair and Banks will fight for the latter's SmackDown Women's Title at WrestleMania 37.

No further matches have been confirmed for the last pay-per-view before 'Mania at this time. Belair and Baszler will go one-on-one on tonight's episode of SmackDown, presumably to build to the tag match.
