Big Update On Eddie Kingston's AEW Injury Status

An update on Eddie Kingston following post-Full Gear reports of accumulated shoulder issues.

It doesn't look like Eddie Kingston will be forced to take any time away from wrestling after the weekend's reports that he was suffering from a shoulder injury.

Kingston tweeted the following on Monday, confirming that he is good to go:-

This follows the AEW wrestler pulling out of a scheduled appearance at the Big Event convention in New York City on Sunday, with the organisers claiming that Kingston had been hurt in his Full Gear 2021 match the night before. PWInsider's Mike Johnson followed up, however, noting that Kingston's problem was an accumulation of shoulder injuries, not something that happened in the Punk bout.

It was stated at the time that Eddie was going to get his shoulder checked out. Now, having done that, he seems fine to continue.

Kingston's AEW cohort, Malakai Black, was also forced to withdraw from The Big Event in the wake of Full Gear 2021. There have been no further updates on his status since the initial report, nor has there been any indication of whether or not he will have to take time away from AEW (and wrestling as a whole).
