Netflix’s Vince McMahon-focused docuseries will air sometime in 2022.

This is according to Stephanie McMahon, who said as much while speaking at a March of Dimes event. WWE’s Chief Brand Officer claimed she is both excited and nervous about the show documenting her father (h/t Figure Four Online):-

“I am equal parts excited and really nervous. I don't know what it's going to say, but it's going to capture his life and his story, which so richly deserves to be told.”

News that Netflix was working on the docuseries broke in 2020, when WWE executive Nick Khan announced it during the company’s Q3 earnings call. With Bill Simmons of The Ring serving as an Executive Producer, it is believed to be amongst the highest-budgeted series that Netflix has ever produced.

WWE recently partnered with Netflix to deliver the Escape The Undertaker interactive film for Halloween 2021.

In addition to the Vince series, which is yet to be titled, WWE is also collaborating on United States of America vs. Vince McMahon with Blumhouse Media at the moment. This will focus on the steroid trials and rocked the wrestling giant back in the early ‘90s.
