With previous reports indicating that WWE has yet to make a concrete decision on some of WrestleMania 37’s biggest matches, now comes news that WWE is planning to have two “major” matches for each night of this year’s two-day iteration of the company’s Showcase of the Immortals.

As per the usually reliable @WrestleVotes, WWE is looking at four big matches to take place across the weekend, which means the likelihood of the company having to look outside of its current full-time roster for such bouts.

This latest story suggests that both John Cena and Goldberg are “nearly locks” for the event, while the Rock and the Undertaker look unlikely but seemingly not completely impossible.

On the ‘Taker front, while he’s reiterated how he really has retired now, he’s also said how he’s always there should Vince McMahon need him. Would you put it past Vince to guilt the Phenom into one more match? Absolutely not. Should the Undertaker have one more match? Similarly, absolutely not.

For John Cena, he actually appeared on Raw this past Monday night as part of the promotional package for WrestleMania 37. Cena last competed back at WrestleMania 36, so it remains to be seen whether he’ll pump up his sneakers, throw on some jorts and be in action once more come this year’s Granddaddy of Them All.

Emanating from Raymond James Stadium, WrestleMania 37 takes place on 10 and 11 April.
