Bobby Eaton, one half of legendary tag duo The Midnight Express, was rushed to hospital yesterday after suffering from apparent congestive heart failure.

Long-term manager Jim Cornette corrected reports that Eaton, 60, had endured a heart attack, noting that his heart troubles stemmed from an accumulation of fluid in the chest and legs.

According to Cornette, the situation is improving. He said of the multiple-time Hall of Famer: "Being treated with diuretics, changing meds, heart rate down, pacemaker is fine."

In 2006, Eaton was hospitalised as a consequence of high blood pressure and diabetes. Six years ago, he underwent surgery to fit a pacemaker, owing to years of ongoing cardiac problems.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
