Survivor Series was where Undertaker made his debut, way back in 1990. One year later he defeated Hulk Hogan for his very first WWE Championship, and has gone on to have Casket, Buried Alive, First Blood, and Hell in a Cell matches at the event. It would seem fitting to round off such a storied career under the brand that helped make him a star.

That's exactly what John Cena has in store for Undertaker. Parading around Smackdown with his 17th world title, Cena proclaims that "the Champ is here to stay", while the same can't be said for Undertaker. He says that the Deadman has lost touch, and only won the title at Summerslam due to the element of surprise. Now, Cena knows full well what awaits him in 'Taker's rematch, and wants to up the ante.

"If you win, I never get a title shot again. I've done it all now, and I can retire a happy man. Or you can, because if you lose at Survivor Series then your career is over."

Shockwaves are sent throughout the WWE Universe, as the prospect of the Undertaker being on his way out becomes a very real possibility - given that Undertaker accepts.

When the night comes, it's a valiant effort from the Undertaker that sees him nearly scoop a miraculous win over the champ. But unfortunately, Cena manages to a find way through the offense of the Deadman, and finishes him in the middle of the ring to end a storied career.

Think of it this way: they can create a character who breaks Ric Flair's World Championship record and ends the incredible career of The Undertaker, before eventually using all that to create a star of the future who overcomes him not too far down the line.

That's just basic thuganomics, yo.
