Booking John Cena Over The Next Year
7. A Phenomenal Victory
The stage is set: John Cena challenges AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 33, in a battle of the Faces that Run the Place and a rematch from their five star classic at Summerslam 2016.
Cena spends the weeks leading up to Mania proclaiming that Styles has done it all, and how he's the one blip on his career. Styles made him question it all, to the point where he very nearly gave up after taking his trademark armband off at Summerslam.
Styles meanwhile seems more entertained than excited about the prospect of having to beat Cena again, repeatedly reeling off a list of his achievements and the names of all those he's beaten. Unfortunately for Styles, Cena isn't just looking to avenge his kryptonite in AJ Styles; he's after his 16th world championship.
The two legends have a battle of the ages that bests even their Summerslam classic on the Grandest Stage of 'em All. Cena does what many said he'd never be able to do and finally achieves immortality, pinning AJ Styles clean in the middle of the ring to win equal Ric Flair's world title record.
The Leader of the Cenation stands tall to end the show, as confetti falls from the sky and fireworks explode up above, and your new WWE Champion celebrates his monumental achievement.
