Braun Strowman Set For New WWE Feud
No, it's not Sami Zayn...
Braun Strowman has enjoyed a solid singles push since being separated from the Wyatt Family in the 2016 WWE Draft. His early months were spent running through an endless stream of local talent, but recent weeks have seen Strowman set his sights on better competition, and his upward trajectory is set to continue.
If Strowman's after a bigger challenge, he's about to get it. Yesterday's live event in Oberhausen, Germany saw him take on the Big Show in a Bodyslam Challenge, with the rookie monster emerging victorious.
The Bodyslam Challenge is set to continue on live events throughout December. Given WWE's tendency to use these shows to trial potential feuds and matches before bringing them to television, there's a big chance that the Strowman vs. Big Show rivalry will soon make its way to Raw.
Strowman has made several strides up the card lately, and will represent Team Raw in Survivor Series' 5-on-5 men's elimination match. He's will-positioned to become WWE's next big monster heel, and while Strowman has butted heads with Sami Zayn a few times lately, things seem to be heading in a different direction. Big Show has barely been seen since the draft, but what better way to establish Strowman as WWE's Goliath than by having him slam the World's Largest Athlete?
