Bray Wyatt has earned himself a reputation as one of the most creative minds in professional wrestling today. But unfortunately, he has never been able to truly fulfill his potential, at least not yet.

His career has mad many highs that have shown him to be a unique and special performer, but for every high, there has been a crushing low. From rambling, meaningless promos to goofy horror film nonsense, Bray has often looked more like a parody of himself than a captivating character that the fans can get invested in.

However, as he heads into WrestleMania 36, Wyatt has the chance to right the wrongs of the past and attempt to salvage his standing as a main event level talent in the company, if that's even possible at this stage.

Surely a much-needed victory awaits Wyatt this weekend, WWE are not going to have him lose yet another big-time match. Are they?

Although Wyatt’s recent booking has given his fans hope that the company are invested in him, you can’t ignore the huge defeats that Bray has already suffered in his career thus far.

6. John Cena (WrestleMania XXX)

When it comes to righting the wrongs of Wyatt’s past, John Cena is one of the first names that come to mind. Bray’s defeat to the 16-time World Champion at WrestleMania 30 is seen by many as the beginning of his downfall. It was the first step in erasing the enigmatic aura that surrounded the charismatic cult leader.

The build-up to this match included some of Wyatt’s best work. His obsession with exposing the alleged lies of John Cena gave us some memorable moments and some of Bray’s most spellbinding promo work. Not to mention an all-time great WWE video package to hype the ‘Mania clash.

He was a breath of fresh air in the company at the time and showed that he had much more to offer than just being another monster heel to feed to Cena.

But of course, Cena wins, lol.

Wyatt went on to defeat Cena at the following month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but the damage was already done.
