Bret Hart's 10 Best Matches Ever

If this match weren't already on several WWE releases, it would've been necessary to include it on the "Unreleased" DVD that came out last year. Forget Bret carrying Tom Magee into the history books; the Harts battling the Steiners for the only time ever is a rare sight worth more appreciation.

The spots are off the charts for what was a non-canon match, be they Bret suplexing Scott to the floor, or Owen enduring the certain hell that is the Steiner Screwdriver. It's the standard babyface-vs-babyface match involving Bret, in that things began smoothly and respectfully, before degenerating into an overly-competitive battle of wills, with just a hint of teeth-gnashing hatred in each ensuing move.

The match ends without a winner, and the fight continues long after the bell has rung. Even though you could kind of sense that it wasn't going to end with a clear victor, watching it for the first time is a thrill, because you're never sure where it's going next. It's quite possibly the greatest tag team match in WWE history not involving ladders (and possibly even better than those).
