Brock Lesnar's 10 Best Second-Run WWE Matches

9. Vs. Triple H (Extreme Rules 2013)

For some ungodly reason, WWE thought it was appropriate to have Brock Lesnar have a three-match program with Triple H. While The Game has certainly put on many great matches over the years, his deliberate, slow-paced, psychologically driven style is all wrong for Brock's talents in ring, and their first two encounters showed that. Their matches at SummerSlam 2012 and WrestleMania 29 were utter slogs, the latter made marginally better by the presence of weapons.

However, despite their prior shortcomings, the two managed to cap off the feud nicely. In a rubber match the month after 'Mania at Extreme Rules 2013, Brock and Hunter were placed inside a steel cage. While it's weird that their final match would boast the escape stipulation, given the characters involved, the confines of the structure nonetheless forced the two to cut the crap and just fight, which they did in a brutal and fun fashion.

While it's probably not going to be highlighted on either man's resume, this match is still a fun gem that isn't talked about enough.
