It looks like Brock Lesnar could be set to abandon his longstanding part-time WWE television schedule - at least for the next few months.

Lesnar, who challenges for Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship when SmackDown debuts on FOX (4 October), is currently advertised for more upcoming shows than usual over upcoming 2-3 months, including the 30 September episode of Raw and SmackDown on 11 October, 18 October, and 25 October.

Local advertisements have him down for additional events as well. There's no word on whether or not he'll be taking on an increased house show schedule, though this seems extremely unlikely.

As the biggest male singles star in the company, this is a potentially big deal for Lesnar and WWE. The FOX move is huge. It's vital that WWE get it right and while match outcomes are never a given in this sport, it seems likely that Lesnar will defeat Kingston on 4 October, thus leading SmackDown through the nascent stages of its FOX journey.

With recent months bringing reports that WWE will stack SD's star power in the upcoming Draft, perhaps Lesnar won't be the only big name to make the blue brand his home.
