Brock Lesnar Returns To WWE Ring At Houston Live Event

Brock wrestled just his second match in the last two and a half months.

Brock Lesnar made his first WWE in-ring appearance for 2016 on Friday evening at a live event in Houston, Texas. It was Brock's first match since the December 19th live event in Los Angeles and only his second match for WWE in the last two and a half months. The contest, which was not the main event of the show, saw Lesnar take on Sheamus and lasted just 7 minutes and 22 seconds. Paul Heyman was in tow, accompanying Brock to the ring. Heyman cut a promo before the match, calling Brock the "Terror of Texas." Sheamus did get about a 50/50 split of offense and reportedly hit two White Noise moves on Lesnar, one Irish Curse backbreaker, and even the Brogue Kick (twice). The Brogue Kicks apparently only made Brock drop to a knee. At one point during the match on the outside, Sheamus also threw Lesnar into the steel steps. Of course, none of this was enough to defeat Brock. Lesnar came back, executing 10 suplexes in total (eight were German suplexes). Brock won with the F-5 to a massive ovation from the Houston crowd. Lesnar's next advertised appearance is at RAW this Monday night in New Orleans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8wFXBG4Q4g
