"I've put on some great f*cking matches in my day".

That's what the polarising Brock Lesnar said when Newsday asked for his opinion on fans who suggest he's only in WWE for the money. The reigning WWE Champion defended his passion for pro wrestling too, and added that his privacy away from the ring sometimes works against him when people talk about his career.

Big Brock doesn't like to discuss his personal life, and he doesn't enjoy being in front of cameras unless he's working. That, to Lesnar, doesn't give folks the right to question whether or not he brings it whenever he appears on WWE TV.

The part-timer described wrestling as "a job". He said he approaches WWE like any "prize fighter" would - he comes in, does his business and then goes home. Once he's there, Brock doesn't want anybody sniffing around. That's his time, and he wants to spend it with his family.

Summing it up and referencing his body of work, Lesnar closed by saying: "You don't put out a product like that if you don’t have passion for it".
