6. Brock Lesnar Vs. John Cena - Extreme Rules 2012
Brock Lesnar's first match after returning to the WWE in 2012, Paul Heyman was sadly absent, but the big fight feel The Beast would bring to every match which would follow was definitely on show. After dominating the Octagon, Lesnar completely decimated Cena in a realistic way which made it hard not to sympathise with the divisive leader of the Cenation. The blood obviously also helped, but what might have otherwise been a match which took the top spot here was ruined by a baffling booking decision. In the midst of a losing streak, Cena dispatched Lesnar with a chain to the face and an AA on the steel steps. As great as he was here, Lesnar was still severely damaged in the long run by losing his first match back. Of course, it's to Paul Heyman's credit that he would explain this loss away years later.
