Brock Lesnar’s 33 WWE PPV Matches Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Vs. CM Punk - SummerSlam 2013

'Those corporate idiots are calling this match at SummerSlam 'The Best versus The Beast'. You listen to me: The Beast IS the best, and you're looking at him'. So said Brock Lesnar in one of his typically brilliant sit-down interviews while hyping up said SummerSlam match. Expectations were high, given who was involved, and both men delivered - and then some. Having arguably the best match of the last five years, Punk versus Lesnar was everything good about professional wrestling. The only thing missing was blood, but that's not going to happen in the PG era, unless it's accidental. It was a classic David vs. Goliath story, with the smaller Punk having to think outside of the box and go to the top rope a lot more than usual in order to keep The Beast down. In the end, Lesnar came out on top, following a brutal F5 onto a steel chair. This was Brock's best PPV outing since coming back to the WWE in April 2012 and his second best ever, eclipsed only by a similar match from back in 2004...
