Brody King Shockingly Squashes AEW World Champion MJF On Dynamite (AEW News)

Brody King decimates MJF in barely one minute on AEW Dynamite.

Not just has Brody King cemented himself a shot at the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam Australia next weekend, but he did so by completely decimating MJF.

Last night's Dynamite saw King take on the Salt of the Earth in an eliminator match, where, should Brody win, he'd earn himself that World Title shot at Grand Slam Australia on Saturday, 14 February. And Brody King did so in spectacular fashion, putting MJF away in barely a minute after locking in his apron sleeper and then hitting Max with the Gonzo Bomb for the 1-2-3... complete with a mild distraction assist from Adam Page.

Post-match, Andrade El Idolo took out both Brody King and MJF, before El Idolo was put down by Hangman with his patented Buckshot Lariat. An attempt to hit MJF with the Buckshot resulted in Friedman kicking Page in the balls, and the AEW World Champion was then put down with another Gonzo Bomb from Brody King, as King stood tall with the AEW World Title.

Away from Brody King vs. MJF at Grand Slam Australia, we'll also get Adam Page vs. Andrade El Idolo, where the winner of that match will go on to challenge for the AEW World Champion at Revolution on 15 March. Also set for Grand Slam Australia is Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy taking on Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta, where the losers get their heads shaved, and further gold is on the line as Jon Moxley defends the AEW Continental Championship against Konosuka Takeshia, and AEW Women's Tag Team Champions Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale put their titles on the line against Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne.
