12. Holt McCallany - Pat Patterson

Vince McMahon's right-hand man Pat Patterson was the chief agent for the main event, and though there's fiercely conflicting word on his involvement in the Screwjob, Patterson claims he had no idea Bret was going to drop the title.

After Hart punched out McMahon backstage following the match, Patterson says he tearfully offered up his own face for an extra hit (which Bret refused).

Patterson is of course an industry vet, and to play a man of such seasoned authority, an actor with a real heft and screen presence is required. Enter Holt McCallany, the terrific star of Netflix's Mindhunter, whose piercing gaze and physically involved acting will ensure he steals the show every opportunity he gets.

In addition to being almost exactly the same age that Patterson was during the Screwjob, one suspects he won't struggle to replicate the man's distinctive French-Canadian accent.
