If you had "one week" as the amount of time before Cora Jade turned on Roxanne Perez after the duo won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship, a winner is you.

Jade blasted Perez with her title during Roxanne's attempt to become a double champ against NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose on Tuesday's NXT 2.0. Roxanne had cashed in her guaranteed title shot from winning the Women's Breakout Tournament several weeks back, but she was jumped in the parking lot before the show, leaving the fate of the match in doubt.

Cora offered to take Perez's spot and fight for the title, but Roxanne made her way to ringside and gutted out a title match against Rose. She seemed to be closing in when Jade hit Perez, allowing Mandy to nail her pump knee strike to retain the title. Afterward, Jade tried to wallop Perez with her skateboard, but the gimmicked board broke mid-swing, making for a comical moment of Cora swinging half a board.

Perez and Jade won the NXT Women's Tag Titles last week during NXT's Great American Bash, defeating Toxic Attraction. But apparently, Jade's jealousy had been building up, and she turned on her partner just seven days after winning tag gold.

What this means for the women's tag titles remains to be seen, but hopefully they won't disappear into the same black hole where the WWE version has gone.
