"Chaos" At WWE Raw Tapings Tonight

It sounds like it's going to be another rough two weeks for WWE's red brand output.

WWE? Having issues? On the day of a TV taping? Crazy, we know.

In a new report from Gary Cassidy over at Sportskeeda, it sounds as if WWE is having some major problems ahead of tonight’s Raw.

The plan today was for WWE to tape the red brand outings for tonight and next Monday, but Cassidy claims that scenes at the WWE Performance Center are screaming out “chaos from the top” and that there’s a sense of complete unpreparedness for what’s required to put out two solid episodes of Monday night television.

As has so often been the case, the WWE powers-that-be are said to be changing things on the fly as uncertainty runs wild, brother.

Arguably the most worrying thing about this story is that a WWE source has told Cassidy that “there’s no attainable goal of quality because everything I decided under the pressure cooker of it all coming down to the very last minute.”

While all of this bizarrely seems like standard behaviour for WWE these days, it’s been stressed that today’s situation seems even more hectic and uncertain than usual. For those wondering, Vince McMahon is indeed present at today’s Raw taping – but Vinny Mac is said to be even more volatile than usual.

How all of this plays out on tonight and next week's Raw, who knows. Given the record low ratings recently hit by WWE Raw, whatever's going on today likely can't produce any worse of a TV rating for the sports entertainment juggernaut's flagship show.
