Charlotte Flair Shoots On 'Trying To Control' Her Father
Nobody can stop WWE legend Ric Flair from doing what he wants. Just ask his daughter!
Charlotte Flair has given up on trying to control her father Ric's wild, outspoken ways.
The WWE star told Hot 97 that she used to keep tabs on everything the 'Nature Boy' was saying in the media and do her best to put out any fires. Now, the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion just lets daddy dearest get on with it - she's realised that keeping Ric on a short leash is borderline impossible anyway.
When asked for her thoughts on Ric bashing Becky Lynch, WWE and others in the press, Charlotte said: "I can’t persuade him to be any other way". She pointed out that Flair thinks he's doing right by his daughter by standing up for her even when she doesn't need him to.
Charlotte understands that though. She knows she'll always be Ric's little girl in some respects, and that's fine. However, she'd also appreciate if the 73 year old would calm things down a bit and stop mouthing off about certain subjects.
She's been fighting a losing battle there for years though, and has stopped putting so much energy into fretting about her father making headlines.
