Former WWE broadcaster Charly Arnolt (Charly Caruso on WWE television) has signed a full-time, multi-year contract with sports broadcasting network ESPN.

ESPN broke the news through their Press Room site yesterday, announcing that Arnolt's new deal starts in early April, and will see her contribute to shows like First Take, SportsCenter, Sports Nation, as well as co-hosting a podcast titled First Take, Her Take.

This comes just four days after confirmation that Arnolt had left WWE following reports of backstage heat with wrestlers like Randy Orton and Sheamus. The 33-year-old had turned down a new multi-year contract with Vince McMahon's promotion prior to this.

Arnolt said the following of her new role:-

“It is so incredibly exciting to become a full-time member of the ESPN family. I look forward to continuing to grow with such a talented group of professionals and I can’t wait for all the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Caruso had been with WWE since November 2016 and occupied a number of different broadcasting roles throughout her tenure with the company, from backstage interviewer to Kickoff Show host. She had combined this with a part-time ESPN position since October 2018, which should make her latest move a seamless transition.
