Chelsea Green made her first post-WWE appearance last night, appearing at Ring Of Honor's first pay-per-view back with a live audience, Best In The World.

Being introduced by Maria Kanellis-Bennett, the former Robert Stone Brand member appeared to be an entrant into the tournament, replacing Vita VonStarr. With her arm in a cast, though, Green instead stated she'd be Lenny Leonard's broadcast partner for the entire tournament.

This appearance comes just three days before the non-compete clauses for her group of WWE releases - the IIconics, Mickie James, Kalisto, et al - are up. A new Fightful Select report states that Chelsea had to get WWE's permission to appear at the pay-per-view. At the time of writing, Green reportedly does not have a contract with ROH.

Fightful Select had previously reported that numerous WWE talents were attempting to have their non-compete clauses waived. So far, only Green and Mickie James - in NWA - have resurfaced since departing WWE.

Released back on 15 April, Chelsea Green had spent three years under WWE contract after a few years in IMPACT Wrestling, where she became Knockouts Champion. Since her release, Chelsea has also been teased for IMPACT's Slammiversary pay-per-view this Saturday (17 July).
