Chyna Writes Letter To Vince McMahon For WWE Return, He Says No

Chyna, who on Friday at the Fleshbot Awards in New York City will pick-up the "Mainstream to Porn Crossover Award" for her first professional porno film 'Backdoor to Chyna', has recently wrote a letter to the WWE asking for a return to the company. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion appeared on The Howard Stern Show last night, stating that she was keen to do business again with Vince McMahon and make her first appearance for the company in a decade. Chyna, real name Joanie Laurer said on Stern; "It's been a decade, right? (The fans are) like "Chyna we miss you, we love you," it's an incredible, this fan respect that I have, you know? So, they're like "when are you going back?" and I was like "you know, that's a good question." Stern chimes, "You wrote Vince and you said, "Vince, I want to come back to the WWE." Chyna responds, "I didn't say that." She explains, "I wrote him a legal letter, it was very professional instead of like the trainwreck, all over, like crazy. Had my stuff together and I wrote him a certified letter by lawyer and said, "Hey, are you ready to put everything aside personally, and would you like to do business with me?" WWE, unsurprisingly responded, "We're not interested at this time." You can watch the video of the statements below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4YP9y7qwkY&feature=player_embedded#! Chyna's successful first run with the WWE came to an end when her personal relationship with former boyfriend Triple H became sour when storyline became reality and he started getting serious with his future wife Stephanie McMahon in 2000. Chyna would claim HHH had an affair behind her back and by mid-2001, after a big push and stint in Playboy, she vacated her WWE Woman's Title to take some time off and then eventually left the company several months later in November. Her last match for the company took place at WWE Judgement Day 2001 when she successfully defended her Woman's Title against Lita. It was the next night she vacated it.
