CM Punk And Colt Cabana's Friendship Over?
A backstage visit may have torn apart one of wrestling's greatest bromances.
Twitter user FrontRowBrian, who has broken a few MMA stories in the past, has Tweeted that the friendship between Colt Cabana and CM Punk is over.
He said that the split stems from issues over Dr. Amann's lawsuit against Punk.
More specifically, it's believed that Cabana's backstage visit to a recent WWE show infuriated Punk. The two have stopped following each other on Twitter, which seems to mean that something is up.
As we heard on Cabana's podcast, Punk blasted Dr. Amann, and the entire medical team of WWE. He laid out some pretty defamatory statements, which will be settled in a courtroom, but not until 2018. A lot of money could be at stake here for both sides, so Punk is wanting to protect himself as best he can for the upcoming trial.
As The Straight Edge Superstar has revealed in the past, he doesn't have a lot of friends in the wrestling business. He was known to mainly keep to himself, and a close inner-circle his last few years in WWE. Now, one of his most-trusted confidants over the years is no longer among his buddies.
